We, Damaria and Raegina were featured on a program called Wednesday’s Child. Entering foster care at
such a young age, we faced many obstacles. Thankfully, through the support of Wednesday’s Child,
we were placed in a caring home. Without the love and encouragement we received, and without the
opportunity provided by that show, we didn’t know what our future would have looked like. We are truly
thankful and grateful to have been able to succeed despite the trials we faced.

We understand firsthand what it’s like to grow up in foster care, we also know how critical it
is for youth to have support—especially when transitioning out of the system. That is why we have created
Fostering Futures.

Fostering Futures is a program dedicated to helping young people aging out of foster care gain
access to the resources and guidance they need to succeed in life. Whether it’s support with
education, jobs, life skills, housing, or overall encouragement, our mission is to make sure foster
youth are never left without a path forward.
